Washington Wineries - An Overview

I'm not going to use this blog to have you believe I'm an expert on Washington Wineries and wines. I'm an expert only in that I love wine and I love visiting wineries and tasting rooms! I'll let the winemakers tell you about sugar levels and tannins and fermentation. I will tell you about what it was like visiting a winery, what a suggested day trip might be, how friendly the folks in the tasting room were, what wines they had, what I tasted... you know...nuts and bolts. Take my recent visit to Camaraderie Cellars in Port Angeles.

I've known Don and Vicki Corson for more than 25 years. He makes some of the most beautiful wines I have ever tasted. But when you visit Camaraderie you are blown away by not only the wines but the atmosphere that Don has created. Not every winery can be blessed with a property like Don's, but every tasting room CAN reflect the soul of the winemaker. Washington produces great wines; from the wineries with views of the Columbia Valley to the wineries that look out into a warehouse parking lot. From Woodinville to Yakima, from Leavenworth to Port Angeles, let's explore! I will leave you with some more pics of Camaraderie.
